XV Ironman Lanzarote – 20 May 2006

Ironman UK's winner 2005, Aussie Rebecca Preston registers for Ironman Lanzarote.

This will be Rebecca's fifth Ironman race start: the first one was that win at her very first participation in IM UK, in front of Katja Schumacher and Bella Comerford, then, at the World Championships in Kona she finished 11th - an incredible performance for such a short Ironman career ; then at Ironman Malaysia last month (27Feb) unfortunately she had to drop off after the bike segment because of an injury sustained in a bike crash a little before the race, ...that only makes three... Indeed, before she starts here on Lanzarote next 20 May, she will also line up at the Panthers Ironman Australian Ironman coming Sunday, 2nd of April.
