LONG DISTANCE TRIATHLON 2006
Whereas the entry deadline is getting closer (1 May) and the field keeps growing – with now 860 athletes (limit is 1000) the Ironman Lanzarote organisation finally manages the collaboration of the Canarian Triathlon Federation and as a result also takes the responsibility to organise one more year the Long Distance Triathlon Canarian Championship within Ironman Lanzarote.
This news will certainly make local athletes – both Canarians and Canary Islands’ residents – happy, as this is the very only long distance race organised on the Archipelago. It is thus important for the Canary Islands to be able to have this championship on the calendar.
The Ironman Lanzarote organisation is proud and happy to be able to count on the collaboration of the Canarian Triathlon Federation.
