Batman and Stefan Haas, our two charity triathletes did it!

Batman' and ASPIRE
Mike Griffiths, (Mr. ‘Batman'), an important collector for ASPIRE participated and finished the Ironman Lanzarote 2005! His big goal was to collect at least 1000 Pounds. That is why he raced in that funny, but not actually comfortable, Batman fancy dress.

Remember:

ASPIRE stands for Association for Spinal Injury Research Rehabilitation and Reintegration. Founded in 1983, to help people with spinal cord injuries it grew out to a nationwide operating charity with its own unique ASPIRE National Training Centre (ANTC), where disabled and non-disabled people can integrate in sports and leisure activities.

Stefan Haas and ‘Ironman against cancer'
Racing and finishing the Ironman Lanzarote, Stefan Haas managed to raise more than 25.000 Euros for children who suffer from cancer.

His daughter Alisa, who was born with little chance to survive – but as a miracle did! – ran her very first Ironkids.
Stefan raced every single kilometer under the motto: ‘Ironman
Kilometers for Kids with Cancer'.

And Stefan crossed the finish line!!! He did earn and deserve the cheque he proudly crossed the finish line with and the money has been given to the charity, Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder.
